we practiced reading while acting to the words in the script "killed".
we watched some year 8s. they were really immature, but we used to be like that.

Rehearsing Killed again, and we have been getting in to small groups and acting out scenes from the play, Mr. Austin wanted three scenes between us, .. and we had to read our lines without the script :) x

We are rehearsing a play called Killed, that is based on the army and contains flashbacks. some of the group found it hard, others said they needed a script when they didnt, they knew it without the script, maybe not word for word, but the only people who actually noticed was the people with the scripts in hand. ♥

Sophie
This lesson we watched video of our lines which we learnt.
Dannie helped me with mine so I learnt them, and it was fun.
People in the video were doing things like hiding behind their hair, talking quiet and tilting their heads.x x x
Dannie
Today we looked at footage of our line-learning exercise last lesson.
I was impressed that my various techniques worked on Sophie, and she learnt her lines in an enjoyable way.
However, I didn't spend enough time learning them myself and was cut up short.
When we watched the footage, the common acting skills portrayed for the characters were
+tilting head
+ softening voice
+looking down
+hair as a shield
+sighs.

Our Facebook group is set up for everyone, just post what you would like on the blog on there, and I will transfer it, and get it to Austin. :) ♥
